The study concerns the configuration of the existing playground located within the grove of National Resistance, on a surface near the junction of Kalvou and Ethnarchi Makariou streets in Paleo Psychiko. The playground is located in the Municipal Unit of Paleo Psychiko and occupies a part within the plan in OT6 of a wider common area, the grove of National Resistance. The grove, the total area of ​​which is 21,674sqm. connects two different sports facilities on the north and south side of the school complex of Arsakeio. The access of the playground is located at the junction of Kalvou and Malakasi streets (continuation of Ethnarchi Makariou street). The space occupied by the playground has an area of ​​approximately 1380sqm, belongs to the third category of playgrounds larger than 800sqm. The purpose of the proposal is the construction of a "natural playground" (natural playground), of an educational nature that will address the entire wider area of ​​Paleo Psychiko, which will integrate the ages from 1 to 16 years, and which will provide them with various opportunities to develop skills and activities. Within the playground are organized three main play areas and a sub-area. Each area refers to a specific age group with different toy equipment. Access to play areas is through the main traffic network. In the perimeter of the play areas, wooden living rooms are formed, which at the same time constitute elements of delimitation of the play areas, vertically or horizontally placed. Particular features of the playground equipment are the water toys (pumps, canals, propellers) located in two sub-areas.
