The study concerns the configuration of the existing playground located at the junction of Kyprou and Evrota streets, in the Municipal Unit of Neo Psychiko, in the Municipality of Filothei-Psychiko. The playground is adjacent to the Municipal Conservatory of Neos Psychikos. The space is within the plan and has a total area of ​​510sqm. It belongs to the B category of playground larger than 400 sqm and smaller than 800sqm. Aimed at an age group of 3-8 years. The main concern of the proposal is the organization of the playground in relation to the neighboring municipal conservatory. The operation of the conservatory "extends" to the playground with the placement of special musical toys. The space is organized to ensure both the possibility of safe and creative play and the hosting of a musical performance. The playground is organized in three zones that are not separated from each other but are diffused into each other. Along with special games (musical games) it is also equipped with movement and balance games. Many of them fit naturally into the relief of the space and offer more possibilities of use. The special musical toys (xylophone, lithophone) that are placed in the central and easily accessible section are also suitable for the disabled. The musical character of the playground is projected directly with the existence of musical toys but also indirectly with useful and decorative elements such as the floor designs (stave, piano keys) and the metal notes that are glued to the railing of the external fence.
