The present proposal refers to the study of reuse of an existing warehouse for the creation of a cinema in Gargalianoi, Messinia and to the configuration of its surrounding area. The warehouse plot has an area of ​​3,000 m2, and is located on the southeast side of the settlement. The main choice of the proposal was its perfectly functional organization for its comfortable, pleasant and safe use. A cinema-theater layout was formed in order to provide equal and optimal service of both functions for the maximum number of spectators. For this purpose, a linear parallel arrangement of the seats and elevation of the stage is followed. The main entrance is maintained at the existing location in the NE corner of the building. On the corresponding side of the plot, meeting places and stops in the form of a square are created. The main access starts from the respective NE corner of the plot and through plateaus, plantings and parking spaces that follow the polygonal shape of the plot ends at the entrance of the building. The direct relationship of communication and operation of the indoor meeting place with the outdoor outdoor space was sought. The signaling of the new function with the remodeling of the facades of the existing building was realized with the investment of an elevated zone around the perimeter of the building with special adaptation to the entrances - accesses and the painting of the shell of the building volume with intense special paint.
