The plot on which the complex of four houses was studied is within plan and is located in the area of Vrocheia of the Municipality of Aegina. It has an ideal view of the sea and to its south passes the coastal road that connects Aegina with Perdika. The plot is inclined with upper levels on the north and lower on the south side. Particular attention was paid to the harmonious integration of the building volume, according to the requirements of the program, in the particular natural environment of the area. An important element in the location of the complex was the securing of unhindered optical escapes from each unit of the complex. The careful adaptation of the buildings and their outdoor configurations to the natural terrain creates a system of stepped levels that differentiate the qualities of the individual courtyards and enrich the form of the buildings, as they give a completely different result to each residence. The materials of the houses and the upgrades of the configuration of the surrounding area contribute to the optimal integration of the complex in the terrain. The complex consists of three two-storey and a ground floor residence.
