The project concerns the redevelopment of the central area of ​​the municipality of Korydallos. With the construction of the metro station at Eleftherias Square, it was transformed into a major traffic hub, both for residents and visitors to the area. The new data on pedestrian access and bicycle and car traffic have created needs that must be served by the existing road network. The present study reshapes Agios Georgios Square with the streets surrounding it as well as Diamantidis, Agios Georgios and Taxiarchon Streets. The redesign of these areas functions exemplary. It creates an attractive public network that connects different local centers of open spaces and activities. Especially in Agios Georgios Square, with its redesign, in addition to the already existing playground, an extensive surface of a natural playground is ensured.
