The playground, with an area of ​​900 m2, is part of the wider public space of Petroula Square in Kolonos. The layout of the space provided for the redefinition of accesses and the integration of an additional part of the surrounding space. The two entrances are connected to each other by a curved traffic corridor, at least two meters wide, on either side of which the game sub-areas develop. The floors of the corridor and the areas of the playing instruments are covered with colored cast rubber with circular patterns. On the west side of the space and under the trees the floor is covered with pressed soil. The sandpit with the instrument of the "spider" was filled with pebbles of special granulometry according to the specifications.
