Children’s room design

A children's room with a surface of 12 m2 was organized with the aim of enlarged the play surface, while ensuring sufficient space for reading and sleeping. The yellow submarine, an elevated bed, was anchored to the side walls. It is located in the "seabed", surrounded by fish and jellyfish and a menacing "kraken" tries to catch it with its tentacles. A new route to the elevated bed was implemented in the room. The first part of the staircase is mobile and leads to the intermediate level, on the desk bench. The wall opposite the "seabed" was formed into a blackboard, a variable and ephemeral surface for use by the child. The configuration was complemented by a small hanging bookcase and chests of drawers under the counter.
