Roof configuration of an apartment building
The study concerns the configuration of the roof of a three-storey apartment building of a total area of 110 m2. and aimed at satisfying functional, qualitative and aesthetic needs. The basic infrastructure of insulation and installations was implemented and the perimeter regists and railings were maintained. At a central point of the roof in contact with the existing stairwell, a wooden pergola with a reedbed was formed. Along with the volume of the stairwell, they ensure in this area, very adequate shading throughout the day. This point functions as a reception area and a living room with free views from the neighboring buildings to the west. On the east side of the stairwell, auxiliary facilities (wet spaces) were organized. And at this point a wooden pergola with a reed was constructed of a smaller area. In selected locations, vertical reeds were placed for the visual isolation of akathy perimetric buildings.
