Retaining wall of the west pier of the Dionysian theater
Retaining wall of the west pier of the Dionysian theater
In the context of the conservation and restoration works carried out on the South Slope of the Acropolis of Athens, the retaining wall of the western anavathra of the Dionysian theatre up to the stalemate to the Asclepieion was depicted. The wall is made with alternating layers of transverse and long-term stones. In collaboration with a topographical crew, the digital processing was initially carried out. In the final drawings, apart from the outline of each stone, the damages, elbows, traces of ligaments and subsequent interventions on the monument were described.
