ETVA INDUSTRY SA Service Center

ETVA INDUSTRY SA Service Center

The aim of the architectural competition was the preliminary design of a type of building, with a specific area (approx. 170 sq.m)that has the flexibility and adaptability to be able to accommodate the needs of two different functions (Administration and Banking service) in a total of 16 Industrial Areas and BIOPA that are scattered in Greece. The idea of the proposal was based on the linear evolution of the spaces. The building is developed on the ground floor and consists of the two individual functional sections. The two functions are connected to each other by common access, semi-open space, and single entrance housing. The shelter delimits the intermediate space and organizes suitable conditions for stopping and defusing the two functions. The building is projected and becomes recognizable in the area of the Industrial Areas where it is hosted, through the appropriate use of technology (energy systems, modern materials), but also of the "traditional" tools of architecture (light and color). The color during the day and the lighting during the night mark it and emphasize the existence of the most important building in the wider facility.
